Last weekend, my roommate, the other Taiwanese, my high school friend from UIUC (University of Illinois and Urbana Champagne), and I played paintball. It was furious but fun. Although the pain was real, it was totally worth it. I’ve not played paintball for a while. It felt so good to do that again with friends. After paintball, around 4:30pm, we drove to Chicago to meet up with my high school friends from UCI (University of California in Irvine) and MSU (Michigan State University). We had a great dinner in China town. To be fair, the purpose of going to Chicago was not tasting delicious food. It was all about reuniting with old friends. My tears almost came out when I met them in China town. We had been in the same homeroom for 4 years, and they are just like family to me. We sat down in the restaurant and started sharing our own story that happened in different places. I was so excited and happy to see them in Chicago. One of them is thousands miles away from me, while the other is 4 hours away by driving. It was so precious to have the chance for us to be reunited.
After farewell with them, we headed over to UW-Madison (University of Wisconsin- Madison). I really loved the city. It is a lot more beautiful than Purdue, in my opinion. The campus is surrounded by two lakes, and the buildings are like the mix of modern and ancient architectures. It was still clamorous at around 11pm. People were about to go to party.
We stayed at my friend’s apartment. It was surprisingly commodious. You wouldn't even feel crowded when seven people were in the same room. For the night, we just chilled and chatted. They are also my high school friends, so we really had a lot to talk about, trying to catch up other’s status. The night was fun; in the end, we even strolled on the street, enjoying the night view in Wisconsin. The next day, we visited their gym and played a couple basketball games with the students there. Later on, we used the apartment’s facilities for a while and then headed to a Japanese restaurant. Afterward, we went back to campus and visited the most famous ice cream shop in Madison. It was right beside a lake. The scenery was amazing, especially with a little fog. I really love the city. It is very organized and modern, like a mixture of nature and modern building. The road trip was fun, to be continued…

The new BMW X7 has finally debut. It looks like X5 but has larger dimension and more luxury interior. My dad and I have been waiting for that for so long. My used to have a 5 seats SUV, but capacity of 5 wasn't enough for a big family. Now the 7 seats one has finally came out. Next time our family can hang out together and not worry about the limitation of seat capacity.
